Staff Feature: A Childhood Dream Becomes A Reality
As a young child, Josh Barrow’s dad built and owned a track, where he taught his son the fundamentals of riding. In pursuit of his childhood dream of owning his own motocross track, Josh and his wife Hillary made more than a bunny hop of faith in 2019 when they purchased 64 acres of raw land in Edgefield, SC. It’s in his blood, remarks Hillary. I have loved watching him live out his dream and work so hard. I am a proud wife!
Together, the Barrow family oversees every aspect of the Oak & Harrow MX track operations, striving to create a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. We want to share the property, love, and passion for the sport with as many people as we can, exclaims Josh. The Barrow’s own boys, Keaton and Cohen, embody the same passion for MX racing, and can be found riding their bikes, catching frogs, and building mud castles on most weekends.
