At the Richland Creek Zipline Canopy Tour, thrill-seekers can coast safely through 14 different ziplines, sky-high suspension bridges, four ropes-based obstacle courses, and a 1400 ft zipline – one of the longest in the Carolinas!

The vistas accessible from the zipline are unprecedented – as you zip from station to station, you’ll take in views of the foothills of the Uwharrie Mountains, the breathtaking Mendenhall waterfalls, and the Randolph County Wilderness.

Our church youth group recently got together at Richland Creek Ziplines and had a blast. 14 lines and each was super fun. The staff was amazing. Definitely worth the trip and the money. We will be back. (Mandy Merrill, Thomasville, NC)

You'll be wearing a smile, too, after soaring through the canopy on one of the longest ziplines in NC.

Pro tip: combine your visit to the zipline with a stop by the NC Zoo (one of our best places to see animals), located only three miles from Richland Creek Zipline Canopy Tour, which happens to be one of the first zipline tours in the Carolinas. The guides are incredibly resourceful and visitors can rest assured that they’re safe as they dart from treetop to treetop.

Know Before You Go: Any person experiencing current or recent heart, back, knee, or hip conditions should not ride. Expecting mothers should not ride. Helmets are required and provided; close-toed shoes are a must and long hair should be pulled back into a ponytail. All visitors are required to sign a waiver.
