You'll find two family-friendly restaurants inside Downtown Cary Park. Market 317 is a grab-and-go option inside Downtown Cary Park, featuring sandwiches, snacks, coffee, take-and-bake meals, and NC-based provisions. You can also purchase beer, wine, and soda here. The Bark Bar does offer light snacks but is mostly focused on pouring craft beer. You can browse what's on tap here.

Can you drink in the park? Downtown Cary Social District rules

The Downtown Cary Social District allows guests to consume alcoholic beverages within its boundaries from 11 AM to 11 PM daily — boundaries are clearly marked and major entrances and exits.

What else should you know?

  • BYOB and outside beverages are not permitted in the Downtown Cary Social District
  • All alcoholic beverages consumed in the Downtown Cary Social District must be consumed from a specified cup, and no other container
  • Guests can take their approved alcoholic beverages into any participating businesses that allow the special containers, as well as outdoor district spaces
  • Guests are responsible for appropriately disposing of their special container/cup before leaving the Downtown Cary Social District.
