Celebrate New Year's Eve in Myrtle Beach, SC!

Myrtle Beach does New Year’s Eve the way it does everything else. Big options, flexible vibes, and no judgment if you want to celebrate early, late, or somewhere in between. You can ring in 2026 with fireworks over the ocean, a champagne toast in a music hall, a noon countdown with kids, or a packed dance floor that keeps going until last call. The best part is that you do not have to choose just one style. Myrtle Beach makes it easy to build the night that actually sounds fun to you.

Here is how the Grand Strand welcomes the New Year.

A Southern Times Square at The Market Common

If you want the classic countdown experience without the chaos, A Southern Times Square at The Market Common is the place to start. Beginning at 9 pm, this family-friendly event brings together live music, food vendors, kids’ activities, and a beer and wine garden that keeps things festive but manageable.

The headline moments are the official countdown, a signature ball drop, and a brand-new drone show that lights up the sky in a modern, crowd-pleasing way. Tickets are complimentary with a qualifying purchase from Market Common businesses, which makes this one of the best-value celebrations in town. It feels like a real event without feeling overwhelming.

New Year’s Eve on the MarshWalk

For a more relaxed coastal vibe, head south to Murrells Inlet and stroll the MarshWalk. On New Year’s Eve, the boardwalk glows with lights, live music drifts from restaurant patios, and festive drink specials make it easy to linger.

Each of the eight MarshWalk restaurants offers its own New Year’s Eve menus, cocktails, and entertainment, so you can keep the night casual or turn it into a slow-moving crawl. It is social, scenic, and ideal for anyone who prefers conversation and good food over a packed dance floor.

House of Blues New Year’s Eve Dinner and Dance

House of Blues Myrtle Beach offers a New Year’s Eve that is equal parts dinner party and concert. The evening includes a four-course meal, live music from Soultrii, dancing, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 7 pm, which gives you time to settle in and enjoy the full experience without rushing.

This is a great option if you want a polished night out where everything is handled for you. Eat, dance, toast, repeat.

Noon Year’s Eve for Families

Myrtle Beach shines when it comes to early celebrations, especially for families with younger kids.

LuLu’s at Barefoot Landing hosts a lively Noon Year’s Eve starting at 10 am, complete with family activities, a ball drop at noon, a sandcastle contest, and face painting. Over at Broadway at the Beach, Ripley’s Aquarium offers its own Noon Year’s Eve with live music, festive swag, and a fun countdown to midday.

These events let kids feel part of the celebration and let parents keep their bedtime routines intact.

Comedy, Dancing, and Late-Night Parties

If laughter is your preferred way to start the year, Comedy Cabana’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza delivers. With two showtimes and a strong lineup of comedians, the late show includes a champagne toast and party favors, plus a gift certificate for a future visit.

For bigger party energy, Tin Roof Myrtle Beach hosts one of the area’s largest New Year’s Eve celebrations. Expect live music, DJs, confetti cannons, champagne toasts, and multiple bars buzzing at once. VIP tables and lounges are available if you want a little breathing room.

Local Bar and Kitchen On the Water throws a black-and-white themed party with live music from Jebb Mac Band and optional drink packages, while Avista Resort offers a classic dinner-and-show celebration with live entertainment and a midnight toast. For something with a retro twist and a good cause, Local Eat, Drink, Celebrate in Pawleys Island hosts a 60s-themed party benefiting The Children’s Recovery Center.

New Year's Eve and fireworks — a match made in heaven.

Fireworks Across the Grand Strand

Fireworks fans have plenty to choose from. Barefoot Landing launches fireworks at 7 pm, Broadway at the Beach follows at 8 pm, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk caps off Winter Wonderland with fireworks over the ocean at 9 pm. Downtown Conway rings in the New Year at midnight with fireworks along the riverfront.

No matter where you are staying, there is a good chance fireworks are not far away!

New Year’s Eve in Myrtle Beach works because it does not force you into one kind of celebration. You can go big, keep it simple, celebrate early, or stay out late. Pick what fits your night, raise a glass, watch something sparkle in the sky, and let the coast carry you into 2026.
