Merry and Bright: A Holiday of Lights at the Grove

This holiday season, Poplar Grove is transforming into a winter wonderland with expanded lights, trees, and festive fun, so mark your calendars and come celebrate with us! Our most popular fundraising event of the year offers $10 admission, which includes access to a juried gift show perfect for holiday shopping, photo opportunities with Santa, and a special mailbox for letters to the North Pole. Don’t miss the USO letter-writing station to send cheer to our troops, the whimsical Grinch’s Junk Shop, and cozy campfires for roasting marshmallows. Enjoy Christmas movie favorites, balloon creations by Mr. Twister, and delicious bites from food trucks. There will be live music, themed nights, and even a chance to visit Santa at the Gazebo from Thursday to Saturday, 5:30-8:30 PM. Kids aged 2-11 get half-price admission on Sundays! The festival opens Thanksgiving Weekend with tickets available online soon. Keep an eye out for pre-sale Season Passes and themed night announcements, like pajama time! Located in the Scotts Hill Community on the Pender/New Hanover county line, Poplar Grove’s event supports conservation, education, and preservation through the Poplar Grove Foundation Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
